Dr Khan passed the Australian Medical Council Exams in 2008 and ranked in the top 30 nationwide. In 2009 she moved to Australia to start an internship at the Royal Hobart Hospital. After working in a tertiary hospital for a year, Dr Khan joined Southern Health Monash where she worked in rotations that included surgery, medicine and geriatrics.

Dr Khan extended her experience working in emergency, plastic surgery and obstetrics at Peninsula Health and as a GP Registrar in St Vincent’s Hospital.

In 2012 Dr Khan joined the Australian General Practice Training and obtained her FRACGP Fellowship in 2015. She has also worked as a locum doctor at a number of clinics in Frankston, Mornington and Carrum Downs. Dr Khan has completed courses in specialisations and she has a strong interest in: dermatology and pain management. Dr Khan can speak fluent English, Urdu, Hindi and Pushto.
